Today I learned that Molokini is home to about 250 species of fish. We traveled on the Malolo to the Molokini crater and had the best snorkel experience on Maui. Captain skipped Turtle Town due to the weather, so we had some extra time at the crater, which is a world-famous snorkel location. The crew was absolutely amazing and gave everyone their own fins and snorkel masks. We swam around seeing beautiful coral fish and I even saw an octopus. The crater houses a reef with visibility as deep as 150ft was seriously a life-changing experience. After swimming around and playing in the water, the crew prepared a light lunch and drinks for us.
