Okay, so today I learned so much about Lyon and all the food you can find there. Every Lyonnais specialty has its own history, and it was fascinating to learn about food pairings like wine and cheese. I also learned about the unique Bouchon Lyonnais restaurants and the traditions surrounding them. Our guide Yannick was incredibly informative, teaching us about the city's roads, churches, and monuments. The tour was a gourmet itinerary that introduced us to iconic Lyonnais products, historic houses, and most importantly, passionate local partners. We even ventured inside traditional traboules (covered passageways) and learned about their history and Lyon's role on the Silk Road. It was an amazing tour, and I highly recommend it!
